Deşi mulţi copii români vorbesc în prezent fluent limba lui Skakespeare, în ultimii ani nu mulţi au fost editorii şi editurile care s-au încumetat să aducă în România cărţile în limba engleză cele mai potrivite universului magic al copilăriei. Din motive diverse şi realiste, acest lucru implicând în special eforturi deosebite (mai ales financiare) şi o reputaţie indiscutabilă din partea respectivei edituri româneşti care ar dori să aibă o astfel de iniţiativă editorială.
În cele mai multe cazuri, au fost prezente la târgurile de carte din ţară doar cursurile de învăţare a limbii engleze şi diferite materiale didactice pentru elevi şi profesori.
O excepţie există însă, din fericire, de la această regulă: Editura Integral, care a devenit Distribuitor autorizat Usborne, UK.
